Arsenic Clinic
i) An arsenic clinic is run at Baruipur Sub-Divisional Hospital (run by Government of West Bengal), South 24-Parganas, once in every month, where arsenic expert doctor of the Foundation examine arsenicosis patients referred to the hospital from neighbouring region and distribute free medicine to them. It was started on 30th December, 2005.
 
ii) An arsenic clinic is run at Ashokenagar State General Hosptial, Ashokenagar, (run by Government of West Bengal), North 24-Parganas, once in every month, where arsenic expert doctors examine arsenicosis patients referred to the hospital from neighbouring region and distribute free medicine to them. It was started on 2nd February, 2007.
Medical Clinic
Offering medical service for diagnosis and treatment to poor  people.
 

a) A medical clinic is run by the Foundation at Calcutta Medical Research Institute (CMRI) to study and treat Gastro-intestinal, liver and arsenical diseases, in collaboration with the CMRI.

 
b) Attended Health camps at Jharkhali, Sandeshkhali block. South 24-Parganas and examined patients and avised treatment.
 

c) Planning to organize health camp at Koikhali, Kultoli block of Sundarban area of South 24-Parganas.

 

d) Since 2003, the Foundation is involved in imparting medical education and training of rural doctors and paramedics on prevention and management of Viral Hepatitis.

 

Qualified medical officers accompanied by support staff will attend the health camp on a day every week. Free medicines will be supplied to the attending patients. Complicated cases needing investigation will be referred to the clinic run by the Foundation at Calcutta Medical Research Institute. Poor patients needing admission in hospital will be referred to Bangur Hospital (State District Hospital) run by Government of West Bengal.

Awareness generation and training and case detection
Awareness meetings and health Camps were organized. The target audience were: Block medical officers, health workers, Child development project officers, ICDS & Anganwadi workers, high school students & teachers and suspected arsenicosis patients and prominent villagers. Local doctors and paramedics are invited to visit the arsenicosis case detection health camp. The local doctors, who treat most of the villagers, get first hand information regarding the clinical diagnosis and management of arsenicosis cases by interacting with the arsenic experts of the Foundation The locations of the program were as follows:

Purbasthali Block Primary Health Centre:
Date-02.07.05; Number of participants: 38.
North 24 Parganas
Rohanda High School, Barasat:
Date-16.07 05 Number of participants: 41.
 
All arsenic affected blocks of South 24 Parganas, North 24 Parganas and some most affected blocks of Malda and Murshidabad during 2006-2008
